Out Message

We are a youth focused community radio station that launched in 2009. Our station reaches across Ashfield, Mansfield and beyond on 106.9FM and broadcasts to the world online. We are committed to working with young people aged 11-17 to give them free training in radio. Community Involvement 

Currently as a station, we have supported and are currently supporting and encouraging students locally through their Duke of Edinburgh awards, as either their skill or volunteering aspect. 

Takeover History

Founded in 2009 by Graham Coley, Takeover Radio 106.9FM has been running for 13 years and is currently managed by Ken Mead, supported by several ATTFE staff members and the senior crew. Our sister station in Leicester, Takeover Radio 103.2Fm, has been running since 1997 from the historic Abbey Park.
